As a Partnership Initiative school, Bwgcolman Community School receives targeted support and resourcing to deliver locally responsive, flexible and innovative approaches that are co-designed with community. We work in genuine partnership with families, Elders, community organisations, universities and the Department of Education to create learning experiences that honour the rich history, culture and aspirations of the Bwgcolman people while preparing students with the knowledge, skills and confidence to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Our improvement agenda is centred on excellence in teaching and learning, with a strong focus on literacy, numeracy, student engagement and Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL).
