We are currently seeking an experienced and trade-qualified Sheet Metal/fabricator worker to join our Delivery Department, where you'll play a key role in preparing and customising some of the best trucks on the market.

About the Role

Working in a modern, well-equipped workshop, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabrication and fit-out work on new trucks prior to delivery. This is a hands-on role offering a great variety of work, where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

- Repair, manufacture and modify truck and trailer components, including chassis, suspensions, stainless steel panels and brackets
- Fabricate and install custom accessories and equipment
- Assist with vehicle fit outs, including cab accessories, bumper bars, fridges, microwaves, toolboxes and more
- Ensure all customer-requested accessories are fitted to a high standard and completed on time
- Work collaboratively with fitters, painters,



auto electricians and other workshop team members
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and workmanship

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Trade qualifications in Metal Fabrication, Welding, Body Building or a related trade
- TIG and MIG welding (Aluminum, stainless and mild steel)
- Experience within transport engineering, heavy vehicles or a similar industry
- A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
