Reporting to the Purchasing & Procurement Manager, this role is responsible for forecast and demand planning, inventory optimisation and ERP master data integrity across key product groups. You will work closely with stakeholders across procurement, warehouse, logistics, production and the broader business to ensure the right materials are available at the right time, while identifying opportunities to improve stock performance and reduce supply risk.

Key responsibilities

- Facilitating forecast and demand planning for key product groups in partnership with internal stakeholders.

- Monitoring and recommending appropriate stock levels for production-critical and fast-moving aftermarket items.

- Maintaining accurate item settings and master data within the ERP system to support inventory integrity and efficient planning.

- Using data to recommend treatment plans and stock strategies across branches, including the management of overstocked, slow-moving, aged and obsolete inventory.

- Coordinating the timely distribution of materials across Allight locations and third-party logistics providers.

- Identifying and mitigating supply risks relating to quality, cost and delivery through accurate reporting, tracking and timely escalation.

- Supporting procurement activities, including vendor and supplier assessment based on price, quality, support, capacity and reliability.

- Working closely with the Warehouse and Logistics team to support inventory accuracy and the execution of agreed plans.

- Providing clear,



timely and consistent inventory and planning reports to stakeholders and management.

About you

- A tertiary qualification in supply chain, procurement, logistics, business or a related field.

- Previous experience in material planning, purchasing, inventory, supply chain or a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of inventory and supply chain management principles.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing or ERP systems.

- Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to turn data into practical recommendations.

- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business.

- High attention to detail, particularly when maintaining item data, stock settings and reporting.

- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
