About the role

This is a Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse / Practice Nurse position in General Medical & Surgical nursing at Alkimos Family Practice in WA and Warwick Medical Centre and Skin Clinic in WA in metro Perth WA , a modern, community-focused clinics that prioritises patient outcomes and professional development. Key responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and deliver evidence-based clinical care

- Develop and implement individualised health assessment and care plans.

- Support chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, COPD, asthma, etc.)

- Administer immunisations and vaccinations—including COVID-19, influenza, and routine immunisation schedules

- Perform wound care management and dressing changes

- Assist GPs with minor procedures and clinical treatments

- Deliver health promotion and patient education on preventative health and lifestyle

- Coordinate patient recalls and follow-up appointments to ensure continuity of care

- Maintain thorough, timely, and accurate clinical records in compliance with privacy and best-practice standards

- Support general treatment room operations and ensure a clean, welcoming clinical environment

About you

- Current AHPRA registration as Registered / an Enrolled Nurse (or eligible for registration)





- Completed the online learning program "Understanding Vaccines and the National Immunisation Program" (or commitment to complete upon offer)

- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to recognise and escalate clinical concerns appropriately

- Excellent communication skills—both with patients and the wider team

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy general practice

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in record-keeping and follow-up

- Proactive approach to ongoing professional development and clinical updates
