Where you’ll be working
In this permanent clinical leadership position, you will provide strategic, operational, and professional guidance to a dynamic emergency medicine department. Supported by two dedicated deputy directors overseeing clinical governance and workforce, you will manage a comprehensive medical team including senior medical officers and resident staff. The structure ensures you are closely integrated with an experienced executive team focused on whole-of-organisation reform, providing the institutional backing needed to enhance patient flow and inpatient bed access. Salary
This permanent full-time position provides a base salary, plus up to 12.75% superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading. The comprehensive package features a clinical managers allowance, motor vehicle allowance, salary sacrifice options, and a dedicated professional development allowance with paid study leave. Inclusive of all allowances on top of the base rate, the estimated total remuneration package ranges between $498,065 and $687,491 per annum.

Requirements
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent.
SIMGs with substantial comparability from ACEM are encouraged to apply.
