Alchemy Recruitment is partnering with a local government client to support them in recruiting for a Customer Metering Services Officer on a temporary contract based in Beenleigh. This role covers approved leave within the water services team and suits someone who can start immediately and hit the ground running.

About the role

- Pay rate of $44.99 per hour + super
- Temporary contract through to mid-January 2027, immediate start
- Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, office based in Beenleigh
- Provide customer metering and billing support
- Respond to customer enquiries and complaints
- Investigate metering and billing matters and follow them through to resolution
- Maintain accurate customer, property and metering records
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders

Preferred Requirements

- Previous Pathway experience (strongly preferred), particularly customer requests,



customer/property records, notes and workflow
- Experience in water billing, metering, rates or utility billing
- Strong customer service and complaint handling skills
- Accurate data entry and records management
- Transparent written communication
- Confident with Microsoft 365

Preferred Qualifications

- Current Class C driver licence
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to obtain job-specific immunisations supplied by council
- Australian work rights
- Availability for an in-person interview this week
