The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking Locum Surgical Doctors at SRMO, Registrar and Consultant level for General Surgery and surgical subspecialty locum roles, including Sydney and other locations across Australia.
This role suits a surgical doctor who wants a strong hourly rate and a choice of shifts and blocks.
Rates range from $180 to $350 per hour, depending on level and role.

Clinical Environment
- General Surgery and surgical subspecialty roles at SRMO, Registrar and Consultant level
- Work may include ward cover, theatre support, clinics and on-call duties, depending on the role and your level
- Ad-hoc shifts, short blocks, longer-term bookings and repeat placements
- A broad mix of hospitals, casemix and team environments

Requirements
- Current AHPRA General or Specialist registration
- Relevant recent surgical experience at SRMO, Registrar or Consultant level
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete health service credentialing and compliance requirements

Location
Roles are available in metro, regional and rural hospitals across Australia, including Sydney.
This is a strong opportunity for a surgical doctor wanting well-paid locum work with a choice of hospitals and locations.
