Wine service qualified required to oversee:

- Restaurant wine program (100 bottle list, specialising in wines from Hunter Valley & broeader NSW)

- Tasting room experiences for Margan Cellar Door (flights, bespoke tastings, member experiences)

We are a tasting room and critically acclaimed restaurant, celebrating 20 years of service. Our tasting room operates 7 days 10-5, and our restaurant Thur-Mon lunches only

Front of house experience in restaurants and bars required.

We are looking for an individual wanting to drive our inhouse training and revive our restaurants wine program. Helping build a otational 100 bottle wine list, sourced from predominantly Australia with access to the estate owners private cellar to build an international list with personality and of exceptional quality. A deep dive into the micro climes of the Hunter Valley will be a feature and knowledge around this can be learnt on the job.

This role also works across the Tasting Room, allowing for a flexible roster,



spanning seven days of the week. Our wish is to build out engaging tasting experiences that challenge the sometimes stuffy, rigid nature of classic cellar door formats. For this reason, we need an ambitious, engaged wine and hospitality professional to create unique visitation and tasting experiences for our guests.

At Margan we spend our time time designing and executing iconic guest experiences through our tours, tastings, dining and events. If you are motivatated by creating the perfect day for guests, day in day out, you are likely the person we would like to talk to!

Our wines are are sustainably certified and we farm following regenerative and organic principles.

Our food is centred wholly around what we are able to produce here onsite in our one acre market garden and as such represents hyper seasonal, hyper local refined agri-dining.
