Mecon Construction provides clients with a full suite of design and building services and works closely with commercial property management companies to ensure maintenance and construction projects are completed to the highest standards.

They are seeking a motivated Apprentice Concreter to join their team and learn all aspects of the trade. Mature aged applicants are encouraged to apply.

About the Role As an Apprentice Concreter, you will learn and assist with:





- All aspects of the concreting process, including digging, raking, levelling, placing and finishing concrete
- Using a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Working in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements
- Site preparation and clean up duties
- Completing the requirements of a nationally recognised trade qualification

About You

To be successful, you will:

- Have a genuine interest in the construction and concreting industry
- Be punctual, reliable and hardworking
- Be willing to learn and take direction from experienced tradespeople
- Be physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Take pride in maintaining high quality standards
- Have a positive attitude and robust work ethic
- Hold a current driver's licence and have access to reliable transport
