Action Workforce is currently seeking experienced HC Drivers for a leading transport and logistics operation in Mackay. If youre looking for consistent hours, local and regional work, and the opportunity to earn paid overtime, this could be the role for you.

Whats on Offer?

- Ongoing casual position with long-term opportunities
- Minimum 38 hours per week
- Various start times between 6am and 8am
- Local and regional deliveries
- Supportive team setting

The Role

- Youll be transporting a variety of general freight, including pallets, skids, and loads up to 5-6 tonnes requiring chain restraint.
- Drivers typically move 3-4 trailers per day, depending on operational requirements.

Duties Include:

- Local and regional freight deliveries and pickups
- Completing daily pre-start inspections
- Conducting load and restraint checks before departure
- Managing chain restraints when required




- Following all safety and compliance requirements
- Loading & Unloading
- Freight is loaded by depot forklift operators
- Trailer loads are tied down before departure
- Drivers are responsible for load and restraint inspections
- Removal of restraints from collected freight upon return to the depot

About You:

- Current HC Licence
- Experience with general freight operations
- Understanding of load restraint requirements
- Strong safety focus
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Ability to perform occasional manual handling associated with chain restraints
