The Pacific Group Communications Retail Manager – Mobile & Telecommunications Store The Pacific Group Communications Pty Ltd | Brunswick VIC 3056 and/or Tarneit VIC 3029 Full-time, permanent | 38 hours per week | $80,000 – $85,000 per year + super Benefits This is a permanent full time role of 38 hours per week, offering long-term security in an established and growing business. Task & responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate the store’s daily operations
- Plan and deliver sales strategies, promotions and store plans to reach revenue targets
- Oversee sales of mobile phones, tablets, accessories, SIM cards, mobile plans and internet services




- Track stock levels and arrange purchasing and replenishment
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate stock orders
- Run regular stocktakes and keep stock records accurate
- Set and review product pricing and merchandising
- Keep displays and store presentation to a high standard
- Recruit, induct and train new staff
- Prepare rosters, assign duties and supervise staff
- Set individual and team sales targets, track performance and coach staff
- Prepare and manage the store budget, control costs and analyse sales and financial reports
- Keep cash handling, point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures working well
- Resolve escalated customer complaints quickly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with WHS, Australian Consumer Law, industry regulations and company policies

Qualification & experience

- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with unrestricted work rights in Australia
- A Diploma or higher (AQF) in Retail Management, Business, Management or a related field
- At least three years of relevant work experience may be accepted instead of the formal qualification
- At least two years of experience in retail operations
- Experience as a retail manager, store manager or supervisor (preferred)
- Experience in mobile phone, telecommunications or consumer electronics retail (highly regarded)




- Good knowledge of mobile devices, mobile plans, internet services and accessories
- Proven experience recruiting, training, rostering and managing retail staff
- Strong skills in stock control, purchasing and stocktaking
- Experience in sales planning, setting targets and building revenue
- Ability to prepare and track budgets and analyse sales and financial reports
- Confidence with POS, stock management and retail reporting systems
- Excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle escalated complaints
- Ability to work on your own, juggle priorities and deliver results
