The hospital is a major regional referral service supporting a large and diverse population across northern Victoria. Its General Medicine department manages a broad case mix including acute medical admissions, chronic disease, and complex multisystem conditions,
supported by strong inpatient teams and multidisciplinary care. The Cardiology service provides comprehensive care across inpatient and outpatient settings, including coronary care, cardiac monitoring, echocardiography, stress testing, and heart failure management.
