More than a wash and polish

Know your way around a machine polisher? Got an eye for straight graphics and a clean finish? We’re looking for a Detailer / Finisher who takes pride in getting the details right. You’ll work on new, used and refurbished vehicles, getting each one ready for its next adventure.

What you’ll do

- Detail vehicles inside and out.
- Machine polish and restore paint, fibreglass and gelcoat finishes.
- Remove and fit decals, vinyl graphics and laminate films.
- Fix minor cosmetic faults within your skills and flag bigger repairs.
- Check the final finish and get vehicles ready for handover, hire or sale.
- Work safely, keep your work area tidy and update job records.

What you’ll bring

- Hands-on detailing experience with vehicles, RVs, boats or other large equipment.
- Skills in machine polishing and correcting paint,



fibreglass or gelcoat finishes.
- Experience removing and fitting decals, vinyl graphics and laminate films.
- A valid open driver licence and confidence moving motorhomes, caravans and 4WDs.
- Current working at heights certification.
- Secure use of chemicals, tools, ladders and access equipment.
- Ability to handle the physical work, including bending, lifting, tight spaces and work at height.
- Pride in your finish, good teamwork and basic computer skills.

Trade or practical training in detailing, refinishing, signage or vinyl installation? That’s a plus. So are a forklift licence, paint touch-up skills and minor body repair experience.
