The Role in Focus

As the Assistant Store Manager, you are the "Sous Chef" of the store. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to keep the energy high and the standards higher.

- Lead a Team of 10: You’re a mentor, not just a boss. You’ll coach your team to deliver service that’s as premium as the products.
- Visual Magic: Use your eye for detail to create stunning displays that stop customers in their tracks.
- Business Brain: Keep the engine humming by managing KPIs, stock levels, and rosters with confidence.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager as part of the Restaurant Leadership Team (RLT), you will play a vital role in driving the success of your restaurant,



bringing our values of “Guest Obsessed” and “People Power” to life. You will do this in the service and production areas of your restaurant, leading a team where:

You will also be responsible for:

- Executing and monitoring promotional activities.
- Employee development and leadership.
- Store merchandising.
- Stock management and stock control.

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Greenwood Tavern buzzing and loved by the locals.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

- Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
- Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
- Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
- Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
- Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

- You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
- You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
- You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
- You’ve got a current RSA and Approved Managers Cardas per state requirements

Salary Range: $79,500 to $82,500 + Super
