Disability Support Worker - Western Melbourne
Acme Care Service is hiring casual Disability Support Workers in Thornhill Park, Melton and surrounding Western Melbourne suburbs.
This role supports a Filipino client. Filipino familiarity with Filipino culture, food and customs are highly regarded. Participant have a preference request to having Female Support Worker.
Responsibilities:
- Support NDIS participants with personal care and household tasks
- Assist with community access, appointments and social activities
- Support participants to build independence and daily living skills
- Complete shift notes and report incidents accurately
Must have:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR
- Full driver's licence and own reliable, insured car
- Cert III/IV in Individual Support or Disability (preferred) or relevant experience
