Job Description

Shepelec Contracting Services is seeking a qualified Electrician (General) to support our industrial, commercial and project-based operations in Paget and across Queensland. This hands-on role involves electrical installation, maintenance, fault-finding, testing and repair of electrical systems, motors, control equipment, cranes, hoists and associated plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Test and commission electrical installations.
- Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Install and terminate cables, switchboards and control systems.




- Complete service reports and compliance documentation.
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements.

About You

- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in industrial, commercial or maintenance environments.
- Solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.

Salary range is $75,000 - $95,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position available Applications open on 29th October 2026 and closes on 29th November 2026
