Manilla District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department and Aged Care team on a contract basis, starting 23 November 2026. This is an opportunity to work across a diverse, integrated healthcare setting in rural NSW, where you'll support a 4-bed emergency department, 40-bed residential aged care facility, and 12 inpatient beds. The role offers shared on-site nursing accommodation with private ensuites, and suits a nurse ready to commit to a minimum of 4 weeks full-time work, with 8-12 weeks preferred.

- Work across emergency, aged care, and inpatient settings in a close-knit rural hospital

- Adaptable contract with scope to extend, supported by on-site medical coverage and a collaborative team

Preferred Requirements





- Current triage competency certificate and recent emergency department experience
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Demonstrated in-charge experience in an emergency or acute care setting
- Reliable access to a car and willingness to drive to the Manilla site
- Flexibility to work across multiple departments and adapt to the needs of a rural hospital

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated competence in emergency nursing
- Experience in aged care or rural healthcare settings is advantageous
