With a growing business, we are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant, to join our team.The successful candidate will be predominantly office-based and jump straight into managing existing >$100K contaminated land projects, coordinating teams for field programs and writing deliverables.Our team comprises a group of enthusiastic and engaged professionals delivering interesting, varied contaminated land and environmental risk projects. Our work is diverse across industrial facilities EPA compliance, land development, local government and downstream petroleum. There is ample time for professional support and mentoring, and we encourage staff to complete industry provided training. Ideally you want to contribute to the continued growth and culture of the business with your own network of industry contacts.Key ResponsibilitiesKey duties and responsibilities include:Manage and contribute to environmental assessments including Preliminary and Detailed Site Investigations, remediation planning, landfill gas risk assessment, investigation of soil, vapour and groundwater qualityWork closely with clients and contractors to address challenging environmental issuesManage and contribute to the overall delivery of projects on or ahead of schedule, including actively directing project staff to manage schedule, costs, revenue, risks and variationsProvide an experienced level of technical report writingProvide guidance and transfer of knowledge to project staffProvide contribution to proposals,



panel submissions and develop/expand client relationshipsEnsure ARC Environmental’s health and safety culture is upheldAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have the following qualifications/experience:Have a degree in environmental engineering or scienceHave a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in a contaminated land consulting or industry roleBe an excellent communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to work cohesively within a team environmentHave a firm understanding of current industry regulations, guidelines and trends related to contaminated land management and environmental risksHave started to develop a network of contacts across clients, regulators, suppliers and other consultantsWhy ARC EnvironmentalARC Environmental is a growing specialist environmental consultancy delivering tailored solutions in contaminated land management, environmental risk management and hazardous materials.
