ConsultANZ is looking for a Senior Project Engineer / Deputy Project Manager to join on a major wharf expansion project in Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in a technically complex marine civil project involving wharf upgrades, marine piling, offshore fabrication, and heavy-lift operations.About the Role:Join a major marine infrastructure project involving the upgrade and expansion of an existing wharfTake a key role in delivering multimillion worth of construction worksWork with specialist marine equipment, including jack-up barges, and coordinate complex marine construction activitiesPermanent prospect with a 2:1 FIFO roster once site mobilisation beginsInitially office-based in Brisbane or Melbourne, with site mobilisation expected in April 2027Your Responsibilities:Manage and coordinate onsite project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, and within budgetCoordinate marine civil works, including marine piling, wharf upgrades,



and structural steel installationOversee offshore fabrication and installation of prefabricated wharf structuresCoordinate subcontractors, site teams, suppliers, and project stakeholdersMonitor project progress, costs, resources, and construction schedulesReview technical documentation, construction methodologies, and engineering designsManage project risks, variations, and technical issues throughout constructionEnsure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirementsSupport the Project Manager in driving project performance and successful deliveryWhat We’re Looking For:Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer or Deputy Project Manager on major civil infrastructure projectsStrong marine civil construction experience is essentialExperience with wharf construction, marine piling, offshore fabrication, or similar marine infrastructure worksStrong technical understanding of marine construction methods, tides, and jack-up barge operationsExperience managing subcontractors, project budgets, schedules, and construction teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
