RASHAYS CAFES & RESTAURANTS PTY LTD We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team. This position will be skilled in areas like tax compliance, auditing, budgeting, cost control, planning, and reporting.

The ideal candidate must have comprehensive experience in Franchising systems and manage costs in mass food production setting. Your role will be key in improving our financial process, and making sure we meet performance and compliance standards. You will be working alongside with the Senior Accountant, external Auditor, Leadership team and Chief Financial Officer.

Benefits Supportive and collaborative team environment Training and development opportunities Task & responsibilities Prepare and present financial statements for boards of directors, management, shareholders, and other regulatory bodies. Conduct audits and offer professional advice on business acquisitions, income, spending, mergers, suspected fraud, insolvency and taxation. Manage and oversee departmental budgets across revenue, procurement, logistics, and production.

Monitor and evaluate financial results to compare actual outcomes and budgeted figures. Work with Senior Accountant, Leadership team, and external auditors to develop and maintain control systems. Liaising with financial institutions and brokers to setup financial arrangements.

Ensure compliance with state and federal tax laws,



including payroll tax, superannuation, PAYG and GST. Produce monthly financial reports and analyze them to identify trends, discrepancies, operating expenses and cost saving opportunities. Provide cash flow forecasts.

Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Provide assurance on the accuracy of information in financial reports and compliance requirements. Qualification & experience Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in financial management that involves dealing with senior financial team. High attention to details and robust work ethic. Strong background in finance, accounting, with practical knowledge of of business functions in food processing/ manufacturing and a deep understanding of cost-allocation accounting.
