Company: Solidbase Projects Pty Ltd Position: Carpenter Employment Type: Full-time Location: New South Wales (NSW), Australia Position Overview Solidbase Projects Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our construction team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will work on a variety of residential, commercial and public construction projects throughout NSW. This role involves constructing, installing, maintaining and repairing timber structures and fixtures while ensuring all work meets relevant building codes, safety regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and construction plans to accurately measure, cut, shape and assemble materials.
- Construct, install, maintain and repair walls, floors, ceilings, stairs, door frames, windows, cabinets and other timber structures and fixtures.
- Operate hand tools, power tools and carpentry machinery safely and efficiently.
- Measure and calculate materials, labour requirements and project costs.
- Ensure all carpentry work complies with relevant building codes, workplace health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors,



clients and other tradespeople to complete projects according to specifications.
- Assist in supervising and coordinating junior carpenters and other site workers when required.
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, structural integrity and quality.
- Identify and resolve construction-related issues to maintain project schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organised and secure working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant carpentry experience.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints and technical specifications.
- Strong practical knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, materials and construction methods.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding construction tasks.
- Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility regarding working hours when required.
