Full-Time Kitchen Hand Company Name: SURE PETRO PTY LTD T/A United Timber Creek Supermarket Address: 58 Victoria Hwy, Timber Creek, NT 0852 Job Title: Kitchen Hand Position: Full Time Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 plus Superannuation Duties and Skills:

- Wash and sanitise dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Operate dishwashing equipment and use cleaning products safely in accordance with instructions.
- Clean and sanitise kitchen benches, floors, sinks, storage areas and other work surfaces.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling and cutting ingredients, as directed.
- Receive, unpack and store deliveries in the correct locations.
- Keep kitchen, dishwashing and storage areas clean, tidy and organised.
- Collect and dispose of rubbish and recycling in accordance with workplace procedures.
- Restock kitchen supplies, utensils and ingredients when required.
- Follow food safety,



hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Report damaged equipment, low supplies or hazards to the supervisor.
- Support cooks and other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
- Complete other routine kitchen support duties as reasonably required.

Qualification and Experience:

- At least 1 year of previous kitchen hand, cleaning or hospitality experience is mandatory
- Understanding of kitchen hygiene and protected food handling is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and able to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Ability to perform routine physical tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work rostered shifts, including weekends or public holidays if required.
