Occupational Therapist (Contractor) – Medicare Clients | 80% Billing Split Care For

Better | Sydney | Flexible Hours About us Care

For Better is a Sydney-based support services provider that works with people from diverse local communities. We're growing our allied health team and want an Occupational Therapist to see our Medicare clients.

The role You'll provide OT services to clients referred under Medicare. This includes clients on a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan, and

Better Access mental health clients if you hold mental health accreditation. You choose your hours and your caseload. We handle bookings, referrals and admin so you can focus on your clients.

What you'll do Run first assessments and set therapy goals with clients See clients at home or in the community

Write explicit reports and session notes, and send updates to referring GPs Recommend equipment, home changes and daily living strategies Work with GPs,



families and other health providers

Clients from many cultures (a second language is a bonus) What you need Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist

A Medicare provider number, or willing to apply for one An active ABN Professional indemnity and public liability insurance

A current Working With Children Check and police check

A driver's licence and your own car for home visits OT Australia Mental Health Accreditation (preferred, for Better Access clients)
