We're working with several established Perth commercial builders, each looking for a Site Manager who takes pride in running a safe, organised, high-quality site.

Roles available now, plus new-year starts. Some positions are ready to fill immediately. We're also taking expressions of interest for roles starting in early 2027, so if you're planning a move after the break, we'd still like to hear from you.

The builders

These are well-regarded, privately owned WA builders with decades of combined experience and strong repeat client bases. They're large enough to offer real scale and secure pipelines, and small enough that the directors know your name and visit your site. Current and upcoming work includes:

- Recent schools and staged upgrades within live, operating campuses
- Aged care, retirement living and health facilities
- Mid-rise apartments and boutique townhouse developments
- Heritage refurbishment and community buildings
- Retail, fitout and industrial / logistics design and construct

Projects typically range from $5M to $60M+, across Perth metro with some regional work for those interested.

The role

You'll lead the site from establishment through to practical completion and handover:

- Running day-to-day site operations, programme and sequencing
- Leading WHS on site, including SWMS review, inductions and site audits
- Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and site staff
- Managing quality, ITPs, defects and handover documentation
- Working closely with the PM on programme, buildability and variations
- Managing stakeholders in live environments: students, residents, staff and the public

You'll also have a strong voice in methodology and staging during pre-construction.

About you





- 5+ years Site management experience with a local commercial head contractor
- A track record of running commercial sites through to practical completion
- A trade background or construction degree, plus White Card and First Aid; Cert IV WHS or Builder's Registration well regarded
- Tilt-up ticket highly regarded
- Strong programming skills and confident subcontractor management
- Experience in schools, aged care, multi-res or live environments is highly regarded
- Solid tenure with previous employers

Civil, mining, FIFO, residential volume and subcontractor backgrounds are unlikely to suit these clients.

Salary: $150k-$200k + super. Salary ranges are a guide only; the final package is set by the client based on each candidate's experience.
