About the role:
National Capital Motors is seeking a confident, energetic and commercially focused Finance Business Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional with strong negotiation and customer relationship skills to contribute to the continued growth and profitability of our dealership group.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

- Identify, develop and convert vehicle finance and related product opportunities.
- Assess customers’ financial requirements and recommend suitable finance solutions based on their individual needs and circumstances.
- Structure, prepare and present competitive finance proposals, repayment options and relevant products.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, sales consultants and lending partners.
- Negotiate with lenders and finance providers to obtain competitive finance packages and facilitate timely approvals.
- Proactively work with the vehicle sales team to improve finance conversion rates, product penetration, and overall departmental performance.
- Drive finance conversion, penetration, and departmental profitability.




- Prepare, process, and manage finance applications, supporting documentation, credit assessments and settlement requirements.
- Ensure all finance transactions comply with applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, responsible lending obligations, privacy requirements and dealership policies.
- Deliver a professional, personalised and high-quality customer experience from initial enquiry through to finance approval and vehicle delivery.

Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- At least one year of experience in automotive finance, finance broking, banking, consumer lending or a similar customer-facing finance role.
- A relevant qualification in finance, banking, business, financial services or a related discipline.
- Sound knowledge of finance products, credit assessment processes and lending fundamentals.
- Proven finance knowledge and strong negotiation, communication and customer relationship management skills.
- The ability to understand customer needs and present suitable financial solutions confidently and professionally.
- Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail and effective organisational skills.
- A commitment to regulatory compliance, responsible lending, ethical conduct and customer confidentiality.
