We are seeking a motivated, sales-driven Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy automotive retail store in Orange.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional or retail manager who thrives on achieving targets, developing a team and delivering outstanding customer service.

You will take ownership of store performance, drive sales growth, manage operational responsibilities and lead by example. While experience in the tyre industry would be advantageous, candidates with strong sales and leadership experience in retail, trade or automotive environments are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team and ensuring the successful operation of the store.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Driving sales performance and consistently achieving store KPIs and targets.
- Leading, motivating and developing a team to achieve business objectives.
- Managing daily store operations and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and building strong customer relationships.
- Monitoring sales results and identifying opportunities to improve performance.
- Overseeing credit management, accounts and debtor follow-ups.
- Managing stock, ordering and general store administration.
- Maintaining a professional, safe and productive working environment.
- Leading by example and actively assisting with operational duties when required.




- Providing hands-on support with tyre fitting and changing tyres when needed.
- Taking ownership of the overall performance and profitability of the store.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who combines strong commercial awareness with practical leadership skills and a hands-on approach.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience in a Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Sales Management role.
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Experience within retail, automotive, trade or a similar customer-focused industry.
- An understanding of credit management, debtors and account management.
- Excellent communication, customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused and results-driven attitude.
- A willingness to get hands-on and assist with practical tasks when required.

Tyre / car yard industry experience is highly regarded but not essential. We are equally interested in candidates with transferable sales, leadership and operational management experience.
