About the Role

Bridge IT Engineering is seeking an experienced Datacentre Lead to support a major Federal Government organisation delivering critical ICT infrastructure and capability initiatives. This opportunity is suited to a senior infrastructure professional with strong technical leadership experience across complex enterprise datacentre environments, virtualisation, networking and secure ICT systems. You will lead a small technical team responsible for the administration, integration and sustainment of secure datacentre environments, while remaining hands-on across infrastructure engineering, server platforms, virtualisation, storage, networking and security.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage datacentre infrastructure operations and technical personnel.
- Administer Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and VMware environments.
- Manage enterprise storage, virtualisation and secure network infrastructure.




- Support infrastructure integration across test, development and production environments.
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support, technical direction and stakeholder advice.
- Maintain system documentation, security controls and operational procedures.

What We're Looking For:
- Extensive enterprise datacentre infrastructure and technical leadership experience.
- Robust VMware vSphere, Windows Server and Red Hat Linux expertise.
- Experience with enterprise storage, networking, segmentation and security controls.
- Knowledge of the Australian Government ISM and Essential Eight.
- Ideally, 10+ years of relevant infrastructure experience.
- Exposure to VMware Cloud Foundation, NSX, Dell PowerStore, Cisco or Palo Alto technologies will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in secure or classified ICT environments is highly desirable.
