We are looking for reliable and hardworking Commercial Laundry Assistants to join our busy laundry operation at Kunda Park. This is not a small, domestic laundry environment. You will be working as part of a production team processing large volumes of linen using commercial laundry equipment.

This role would suit someone with experience in commercial laundry, warehousing, manufacturing, food production, cleaning or another quick-paced environment. Previous commercial laundry experience is highly regarded, but applicants with the right attitude, reliability and physical capability are also encouraged to apply.

What The Role Involves

As a Commercial Laundry Assistant, you will work across different stages of the laundry process, including:

- Sorting and preparing incoming linen
- Loading and unloading commercial laundry equipment
- Folding, stacking and preparing clean linen for distribution
- Checking finished items for cleanliness, damage and quality
- Maintaining an efficient and consistent work pace
- Completing scheduled cleaning tasks
- Following infection-control, safety and laundry procedures
- Working collaboratively to meet daily production requirements
- Completing basic paper-based or electronic records

Is This Role Right for You? Commercial laundry work is physical, repetitive and fast-paced. To be successful, you will need to be comfortable:

- Standing and moving for extended periods
- Reaching, bending,



lifting and handling linen throughout your shift
- Performing repetitive manual tasks safely and efficiently
- Working in a warm and active commercial laundry environment
- Maintaining concentration and attention to detail
- Moving between tasks as production requirements change
- Working reliably as part of a team

About You You will be well suited to this opportunity if you:

- Are dependable and arrive ready to contribute
- Have the physical stamina required for a hands-on role
- Can maintain a steady and efficient pace without compromising quality
- Take pride in producing clean, accurately processed linen
- Follow safety instructions, procedures and infection-control requirements
- Work well both independently and as part of a production team
- Are flexible and willing to assist across different areas of the laundry

Experience with commercial laundry equipment and laundering processes will be highly regarded. Experience in warehousing, manufacturing, food production, cleaning, hospitality or similar physical work will also be considered.

Essential Requirements

- Ability to safely perform the inherent physical requirements of the role
- Willing to obtain a National Police Check
- Willing to complete a Pre-employment medical assessment




- Availability to work casual shifts according to operational requirements
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality and infection-control standards
