Aurizon’s Bulk East division continues to expand, offering a unique opportunity to join a growing logistics operation spanning rail, ports, terminals, containerised freight and trucking.

As a Customer Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in the planning and scheduling of rail services for our Bulk East customers. Working within a collaborative team environment, you’ll coordinate service delivery from plan through to execution, ensuring alignment between customer demand, network capacity, and operational requirements.

About the role:

- Plan and coordinate daily and weekly rail services for Bulk East operations
- Develop and maintain service schedules aligned to customer demand and operational constraints
- Liaise closely with operations, network control, maintenance and planning teams to ensure services run efficiently
- Monitor service performance and proactively manage disruptions to minimise impact on delivery
- Ensure clear communication across stakeholders to support safe and reliable service execution
- Identify opportunities to improve service planning, utilisation and on-time performance
- Support reporting and analysis to inform operational decisions and continuous improvement
- Build strong customer relationships, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance service outcomes

About you:

- Experience in rail operations, logistics coordination, or service planning/scheduling
- Strong understanding of end-to-end service delivery, ideally within an infrastructure or heavy industry environment
- Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel, Power BI and planning systems




- Robust stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across operational teams
- Excellent communication skills, able to tailor messaging across multiple audiences
- Sound decision-making capability in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment
- Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement process enhancements
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence
