Role Description The Electrician at Solar Prime will perform day-to-day electrical work related to solar panel installation, including wiring, connection of inverters, and integration with existing electrical systems.

Responsibilities include conducting site assessments, installing and testing electrical components, performing maintenance and repair on solar installations, and troubleshooting electrical issues to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently. The role involves adhering to electrical standards, codes, and company safety procedures, completing documentation, and coordinating with installation teams and project managers.



This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Brisbane Area, requiring regular travel to customer locations within the region.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of electricity and practical electrical work skills relevant to solar installations.
- Experience in maintenance & repair of electrical systems, including routine inspections and corrective actions.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve electrical faults in solar and general electrical setups.
- Understanding of electrical engineering principles as they apply to residential and commercial solar power systems.
- Valid electrical license or certification in Queensland, with up-to-date compliance with local regulations.
- Proven commitment to workplace safety, including familiarity with relevant standards and use of PPE.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturer documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Physical ability to work at heights and outdoors, and to handle tools and equipment safely.
- Previous experience in solar installations or renewable energy projects is highly advantageous.
