We are now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Team Leader to join the La Piazza team and help us continue delivering exceptional experiences for our members and guests.

About the Role

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Food & Beverage Team Leader plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of La Piazza.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll lead from the front during busy service periods, support and coach team members, maintain high service standards and help ensure smooth daily operations.

You’ll work closely with the broader leadership team to foster a positive, high-performing culture while ensuring our guests consistently receive a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities include

- Lead and support the Food & Beverage team during service
- Assist with daily operations, team leadership and guest service delivery
- Coach, mentor and develop team members
- Maintain high food, beverage and service standards
- Coordinate team activities and deployment during busy trading periods
- Drive exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
- Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
- Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness and operational standards
- Foster a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture
- Ensure compliance with RSA, RCG,



WHS and operational procedures

About You You’re a passionate hospitality professional who enjoys leading from the front and thrives in a busy restaurant environment. You take pride in great service, enjoy developing others and are ready to continue building your hospitality leadership career.

To be successful, you’ll bring:

- Previous experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or senior Food & Beverage team member
- Experience in a busy, high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong Food & Beverage operational knowledge
- Confidence leading, coaching and inspiring a team
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, organised and hands-on during peak service
- A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Current RSA, RCG and NSW Competency Card
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Professional presentation and a positive, can-do attitude
- Australian working rights
