About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Head of Commercial Finance to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to provide the financial intelligence, business partnering and analytical rigor the executive and senior leaders need to make sound commercial decisions quickly.

Your day to day will consist of:

- Lead the Commercial Finance cluster, building and developing a high-performing team of finance business partners capable of providing strategic advisory support across all College divisions.
- Develop and maintain a business partnering model that gives each division's leadership reliable access to financial analysis, decision support and commercial modelling when they need it — moving the executive's experience of finance from monthly reporting to ongoing advisory.
- Own the College's financial planning and forecasting cycle, including annual budgeting, reforecasting, and the development of multi-year financial projections that support the College's strategic planning and 2027 budget process. This should ensure that the budget and forecast models are fit for purpose, clearly defined, and drive the right cultural behaviors for the College.
- Build and maintain a suite of management reporting that gives the executive timely, accurate and forward-looking financial intelligence — including weekly reporting capability as the College's data and systems platform develops.
- Lead commercial modelling and investment appraisal for strategic initiatives, new programs,



business development proposals and capital expenditure decisions — providing the CFO and executive with the analysis they need to make sound commercial calls.

What makes you perfect for the role?

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Minimum 10 years' progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior commercial finance, FP&A; or business partnering leadership role
- Formal qualifications in accounting, finance or a related discipline — CA, CPA or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrated experience building or leading a commercial finance or business partnering function, including the development of financial planning, forecasting and management reporting frameworks
- Proven track record of translating financial data into commercial insight that directly supports executive decision-making
