We recruit experienced lawyers for self-employed opportunities with established law firms, organisations and companies.

This role suits lawyers who enjoy working directly with business owners and leadership teams, understanding their businesses and providing practical advice.

You do not need an existing client following to apply.

You will need strong legal skills and a willingness to build client relationships and develop your practice.

The role

Working within your expertise, you will:

- Advise businesses on contracts, commercial arrangements and day-to-day legal issues.
- Build ongoing relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
- Help clients identify risks and make informed commercial decisions.
- Manage your matters, agree fees and develop new business.
- Work within your chosen firm’s skilled and compliance requirements.

Who we would like to hear from

Qualified solicitors with experience in commercial practice or an in-house legal team who can confidently manage matters within their expertise.

You should enjoy working directly with clients, translating legal issues into practical advice and taking an active role in winning work.

Your qualifications, practising eligibility and any supervision requirements will determine which opportunities are suitable.

The arrangement

This is a self-employed, fee-sharing opportunity.

You will build a client portfolio rather than join one business as a salaried employee.

Earnings depend on fees collected and your agreement with the firm.
