April Group owns and manages its own property portfolio. We’re looking for a Project Manager to deliver capital works, fit-out and refurbishment projects from start to finish. You’ll be on site, in control of the numbers, and the main link between our team, consultants and contractors.

This role is built to grow. As you prove yourself, you’ll take on DA work, acquisition due diligence and feasibility input, with a clear pathway to Senior Project Manager.

What you’ll do

· Deliver capital works, fit-out and refurbishment projects to scope, program and budget

· Coordinate on-site works, often in live operating environments

· Manage contractors on progress, quality, variations and site compliance

· Build and maintain project programs in MS Project

· Manage budgets, cost-to-complete, cashflows and re-forecasting with Finance





· Procure and manage design, cost, planning and services consultants

· Run weekly site meetings and report risks and delays to the Head of Development and Directors

· Work closely with our Asset Management and Facilities teams

Where the role can take you

· DA submissions: consultant coordination, design management and authority responses

· Acquisition due diligence: technical review, CAPEX scoping and risk identification

· Feasibility and option analysis with the Development team

· Project and procurement strategy, then progression to Senior Project Manager

What you’ll bring

· Project delivery experience in capital works, fit-out or construction

· Solid MS Project scheduling skills

· Sound budget, CAPEX, cashflow and invoice control

· Experience tendering and managing fully documented, Design and Construct, and Construction

Management contracts

· Confidence managing consultants and contractors, including WHS, insurances and approvals

· A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work on your own

· Clear, concise communication with internal and external stakeholders
