Role Description The QA/QC team member is responsible for supporting and maintaining food safety, quality, and compliance across Gotzinger’s manufacturing operations. This full-time, on-site role based in Gold Coast, QLD involves conducting routine product inspections, monitoring production processes, and verifying adherence to company specifications and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include sampling and testing products, completing quality records, assisting in internal audits, and reporting non-conformances to relevant stakeholders.

The role also includes contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, providing feedback to production teams,



and helping implement corrective and preventive actions. Collaboration with operations, maintenance, and management is essential to ensure protected, consistent, and high-quality smallgoods are produced.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance to monitor product standards and ensure procedures are followed.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Management and Quality Auditing to support quality systems, documentation, and internal reviews.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Relevant experience in food manufacturing, meat processing, or FMCG quality roles is highly beneficial.
- Formal qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, or a related discipline are advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret specifications and regulations, and confident use of MS Office and basic data entry systems are required.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment are essential.
