The Senior Business Banking Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Bundaberg, QLD, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of business banking customers. The role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with business clients, identifying their financial needs, and providing tailored lending and banking solutions. Day-to-day activities include assessing credit applications, managing credit risk, structuring loans, and monitoring portfolio performance to ensure profitability and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

This role requires proactive engagement with local businesses and the community to identify new opportunities and deepen existing relationships.

Qualifications

- Strong Business Relationship Management skills,



with experience in managing and growing business customer portfolios.
- Demonstrated expertise in Credit Risk Management and Loans, including credit assessment, structuring facilities, and understanding lending policies.
- Robust Analytical Skills and Portfolio Management capabilities to evaluate financial information, monitor performance, and manage risk-return outcomes.
- Proficiency in commercial banking products and services, including business deposits, transactional banking, and cash flow solutions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to exercise sound judgment and accountability in decision-making.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, business, economics, or a related field; professional banking or credit accreditation is highly regarded.
