The role As a Technology Recruitment Consultant (Staffing Solutions Consultant), you’ll deliver end-to-end technology recruitment across both Brennan’s Staffing Solutions business and our internal hiring needs, based in our Canberra office.

The majority of your role will support our Staffing Solutions business, working with customers and Brennan’s sales teams to recruit technology talent, with a strong focus on the Canberra and Federal Government market. You’ll also support Brennan’s internal recruitment, partnering with hiring managers across the business.

This role suits someone who enjoys recruitment delivery but also thrives on the commercial side,



building customer relationships, developing talent pipelines and creating new opportunities. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be an Australian citizen.

What You Will Be Doing

- Manage end-to-end recruitment across external customer and internal Brennan roles.
- Work closely with customers and Brennan’s sales teams to identify opportunities and proactively build your own pipeline of roles.
- Take job briefs directly from customers, understand their needs and provide market and recruitment advice.
- Develop strong relationships and networks across the Canberra and Federal Government technology market.
- Build and maintain technology talent pools to support current and future customer requirements.
- Source technology talent through LinkedIn, SEEK, referrals, networking and direct approaches.
- Deliver a strong candidate, customer and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process.

What you will bring to be successful in this role:

- Australian citizenship is required due to the Federal Government customers and roles this position supports.
- 3-5 years’ recruitment experience, ideally recruiting technology roles within an agency, staff augmentation or other client-facing recruitment workplace.
- Strong knowledge of the Canberra technology recruitment market, ideally with experience recruiting within Federal Government.
- Experience recruiting permanent and contract technology professionals.
- A track record of achieving placement, revenue or gross profit targets in a recruitment environment.
- Strong customer and stakeholder management skills, including working closely with sales teams.
- Strong sourcing skills, including LinkedIn, SEEK, networking, referrals and Boolean search.
- Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working autonomously while managing your own pipeline and priorities.
