Cater Care is looking for a Weekend Catering Assistant to join our team in Malmsbury.

This is more than just a kitchen role! You'll help with food preparation and meal service while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards. You'll also have the opportunity to support young people participating in training and work experience programs, helping foster a positive, inclusive and encouraging kitchen environment.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assisting with food preparation and meal delivery
- Providing friendly customer service when serving meals and snacks to clients and staff
- Replenishing food, supplies and service areas as required
- Dishwashing and maintaining clean, tidy kitchen and dining areas
- Following food safety,



hygiene and workplace health and safety standards
- Contributing to a welcoming and supportive environment for young people undertaking training and work experience

Desired Skills And Experience

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in food preparation, catering or customer service
- A positive, team-focused attitude and the ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and a professional presentation
- A strong work ethic, with excellent reliability and punctuality
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport
- A valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one) and willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Check
