At Freo Group, we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Supervisor who is passionate about safety, operational excellence and getting the best out of their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day site operations, lead skilled teams and coordinate complex lifting activities while delivering safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes for our clients.

What you’ll bring to the team:

- Relevant trade qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience within the crane hire, construction, mining, maintenance or heavy industry sectors.
- Minimum Intermediate Rigging (RI) High Risk Work Licence,



with additional relevant licences and competencies highly regarded.
- Relevant statutory supervisory qualifications applicable to the location, including Section 26 (WA) or recognised Queensland Coal Mining Supervisor competencies, where required.
- Proven experience supervising operational teams, contractors and subcontractors in demanding site-based environments.
- Strong technical understanding of lifting operations, plant, equipment, rigging and associated site requirements.
- Sound knowledge of HSEQ legislation, risk management, protected work practices and operational compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and deliver work activities safely, efficiently and within operational timeframes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams, manage performance and build a positive safety culture.
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational and decision-making skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Commercial awareness and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes, continuous improvement and exceptional customer service.

What you’ll be doing:

- Lead and supervise daily site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate labour, plant, equipment, rigging, tooling and subcontractor requirements to achieve operational objectives.
- Champion a proactive safety culture through visible leadership, pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, risk assessments and site inspections.
- Ensure all lifting activities and operational works comply with relevant legislation, company procedures,



client specifications and HSEQ requirements.
- Provide clear direction, coaching and support to employees, contractors and subcontractors to build a capable, accountable and high-performing team.
- Oversee work planning, scheduling, mobilisation and demobilisation activities to support seamless operational delivery.
- Monitor site performance, identify operational risks and implement practical solutions to maintain productivity and service quality.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, operational leaders and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure plant, equipment and rigging are maintained, inspected and operated in accordance with applicable standards and requirements.
- Maintain accurate site records, safety documentation and operational reporting, ensuring incidents and hazards are appropriately managed.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
