Responsibilities

- Lead the technical establishment and operationalisation of the Snowflake platform.
- Design Snowflake account, environment, and multi-tier architecture.
- Configure and administer virtual warehouses, compute scaling, and workload management.
- Implement RBAC, authentication, security policies, and access controls.
- Establish networking, connectivity, monitoring, auditing, and governance frameworks.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimise platform performance, reliability, and cost.
- Provide technical leadership, engineering standards, and platform best practices while remaining hands-on.

Mandatory Skills




- Extensive hands-on experience implementing and operating Snowflake platforms from inception.
- Deep expertise in Snowflake administration, security, and platform architecture.
- Solid knowledge of RBAC, SSO, authentication, data governance, and auditing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based development, and release automation.
- AWS cloud platform experience.
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimisation capabilities.
- Experience working in large regulated enterprise environments.
