Role Description This is a full-time Estimator role based in the Greater Sydney Area, offered on a hybrid basis with a mix of on-site and work-from-home arrangements. The Estimator prepares accurate quotations and cost estimates for glass, aluminium, and steel fabrication and installation projects, reviewing drawings, specifications, and site information. Day-to-day tasks include measuring quantities, liaising with clients, builders, and suppliers, and clarifying project requirements to ensure feasibility and competitiveness.

The role involves updating and maintaining pricing databases, preparing tender documents, and supporting the project team with budget tracking and variations.



The Estimator collaborates closely with design, fabrication, and installation teams to align project scopes, timelines, and costs with company standards.

Qualifications

- Strong estimating skills for construction or architectural projects, including quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and tender preparation.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and building codes relevant to glass, aluminium, and steel works.
- Proficiency with estimating or project management software, V6 software as well as general computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, Word, email).
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple quotes and deadlines.
- Experience in glazing, aluminium windows and doors, shopfronts, or similar construction fields is highly beneficial.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Capacity to work in a hybrid environment, demonstrating self-motivation, reliability, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
