Cater Care is seeking a friendly and motivated Catering Assistant to join our aged care team in Hamilton.

In this hands-on role, you'll help prepare and serve nutritious, quality meals that contribute to the health and wellbeing of residents. You'll play an important part in creating a positive dining experience, ensuring residents receive meals prepared and served with care, dignity and attention to detail.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assisting with food preparation and meal service
- Preparing and presenting texture-modified meals in line with residents' dietary requirements
- Providing friendly and attentive service to residents and staff
- Maintaining clean,



organised and safe kitchen and dining areas
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure meals are delivered on time and to a high standard

Desired Skills And Experience

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in a kitchen hand, catering assistant or hospitality role
- Experience in aged care, healthcare or contract catering environments (desirable)
- Ability to follow procedures, work efficiently and manage competing priorities
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
- A caring and respectful approach when working with older people
- Current year influenza vaccination and willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Check
