Boddingtons Hire are looking for a recent apprentice Crane/ Mobile Plant Technician to join our team.

About the role

Under the guidance of our workshop team you will complete your studies and practical experience towards attaining a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (3 – 4 year commitment).

Working from our Main Depot in Port Kennedy, you will become a key part of the team where you will be able to gain experience by servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of equipment from the worlds leading OEM’s such as Tadano, Terex Franna, Kobelco, Kone and Kalmar.

You will also assist the team with general housekeeping and yard duties.

· We will pay your TAFE expenses and pay you while you learn.

About you

You’re hands on and love working out how machines work. You take pride in your work and understand that doing the job properly matters. You’ve completed Year 10 or above with good grades in Maths and English. Workshop subjects or a pre-apprenticeship would be advantageous however is not a requirement.

We’re a small, close-knit team, so you’ll be someone who gets along with others, pitches in wherever needed and communicates openly. You’re reliable, safety-focused, keen to learn from experienced technicians, and happy to travel occasionally for small trips away. You hold (or are close to getting) a WA driver’s licence (Manual preferred) and can pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test. School leavers and mature-age applicants are both welcome.
