Warringal Private Hospital is recruiting experienced Enrolled Nurses to join our team commencing January 2027 in our Theatres as a Scrub Scout.

About the hospital: We are a leading healthcare provider in Melbourne’s north-east, offering contemporary facilities and a comprehensive range of services. Following significant redevelopment, the hospital now features 215 beds, 11 state-of-the-art operating theatres, advanced ICU services, a dedicated cardiovascular procedure centre, endoscopy suites and a comprehensive day oncology service.

Job Description

Provide specialist perioperative nursing care as a Scrub Scout, working alongside surgeons, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary theatre teams.

As a Scrub Scout, you’ll have experience in surgical procedures, sterile technique and instrument management.

To be considered, you'll need:

- Current AHPRA registration and Australian working rights.
- At least 12 months' recent nursing experience as a Scrub Scout.
- IV medication administration qualification and demonstrated competency.
- Strong clinical observation, patient care and communication skills, including the ability to recognise and escalate changes in patient condition.

To be considered, you'll need:

- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Current, valid working rights in Australia.
- Minimum 12 months post-graduate acute hospital experience as a Scrub Scout.
- Medication administration competencies,



including IV qualifications where required for the role.
- Strong clinical observation and patient care skills, with a commitment to safe practice, communication and teamwork.

- Full-time, part-time and casual positions, with preferred hours and roster arrangements open for discussion.
- Remuneration: Base hourly rate ranging from $36.13 - $40.41 + super based on experience level and qualifications. Penalty rates and allowances are additional. (VIC Enrolled Nurse Year 1–Year 8*).

Additional Information

- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
