About the Company:

A well-established Western Australian commercial subcontractor specialising in façade cladding, carpentry and external building solutions. The business has recently expanded its service offering with the establishment of a current roofing division.

Working with some of WA's leading Tier 1 and Tier 2 commercial builders, they deliver projects ranging from $1M–$20M, with most projects sitting between $5M–$8M.

With a strong reputation, an excellent client base and continued business growth, they are currently looking for an Estimator with a cladding, façade or carpentry background to join their Welshpool-based team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates and tender submissions for commercial cladding, façade and carpentry projects.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Complete detailed quantity take-offs and cost assessments.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Identify project risks,



exclusions and opportunities throughout the tender process.
- Work closely with the Estimating Manager and wider project team.
- Assist with tender reviews, cost planning and pre-contract handovers.

Key Requirements:

- Previous estimating experience within commercial construction.
- Background in cladding, façade, carpentry or plasterboard/gyprocking.
- Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience completing detailed take-offs and preparing tender submissions.
- Good understanding of subcontractor pricing, procurement and commercial construction processes.
- Quantity Surveying qualifications or experience would be highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Bluebeam experience highly regarded.
