This is a really versatile remedial massage opportunity offering a competitive hourly rate plus superannuation. You will work with a broad range of clients, from everyday members of the community to active individuals and athletes seeking help with pain, movement, recovery and performance. Weekday availability is preferred, while evenings may also be available. Weekend work is entirely optional.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting professional client consultations and assessments
- Developing appropriate treatment plans for each client
- Maintaining accurate, timely and confidential clinical notes
- Maintaining excellent treatment-room hygiene and presentation
- Following infection-control, privacy and workplace procedures
- Supporting a positive and welcoming client experience
- Working collaboratively with our administration team and other practitioners
About you
- A recognised Diploma of Remedial Massage from an Australian Registered Training Organisation
- Current membership with an appropriate recognised professional association
- Current eligibility for recognition by major private health funds
- Existing health-fund provider recognition, or the ability to obtain recognition for our West Leederville practice location
- Current professional indemnity insurance policy
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Australian working rights
- Robust knowledge of anatomy, injury management and remedial massage techniques
- The ability to assess clients and create appropriate treatment plans
- High standards of professionalism, hygiene, communication and client care
- A current and valid national police clearance (or willing to obtain one)
