Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Principal to join their Perth-based finance team on a contract through to 30 June 2027.

Description

- Support the preparation of half-year and annual external financial reports, including financial statements and accompanying disclosures.
- Assist with group consolidation processes and statutory reporting requirements.
- Provide technical accounting support, including accounting policy analysis and implementation of new accounting standards.
- Support finance projects relating to acquisitions, divestments, integration and separation activities.
- Liaise with external auditors and support internal control and governance activities.
- Contribute to finance systems, process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.

Profile





- CA/CPA qualified with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- 5-10 years' experience within financial reporting, group accounting or external reporting environments.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/AASB reporting standards and consolidation principles.
- Experience within large corporate or multinational organisations.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and analytical capabilities.
- Resources sector experience and SAP/ERP exposure will be highly regarded.
