Sales Representative – Transport & Logistics

About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to help grow their business and expand their customer base across Western Australia. We are looking for someone with a strong background in the transport and logistics industry, an understanding of freight operations and, ideally, an established network of industry contacts.Your primary focus will be generating new business, securing consistent freight opportunities and building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities across WA, particularly Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Albany and the South West.
- Secure full trailer loads, including semi-trailer and road train freight.
- Identify and approach potential customers across the transport, mining and logistics sectors.
- Arrange and attend customer meetings and site visits.
- Generate recent leads through phone calls, networking and face-to-face sales.
- Maintain existing customer relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
About You
- Previous sales or business development experience in the transport and logistics industry.
- Good understanding of freight operations and the WA transport market.
- Established industry contacts and customer relationships.
- Proven ability to generate new business and secure profitable freight opportunities.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently.
- Willingness to travel throughout WA.
Working Arrangements
Based at our Midland office, with approximately 2–3 days per week in the office focusing on sales calls, customer follow-ups and arranging meetings. The remaining days will involve customer visits and regional travel to develop new business.
