We are partnering with a well-established global leader in the health and wellness industry, operating through a direct selling business model, to recruit an experienced Market Development Specialist to join their Australian team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven, bilingual professional who thrives on building relationships, educating independent distributors and driving sustainable sales growth.

Location: Sydney, with the office relocating to North Sydney in Q1 2027.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home each week.

About the Role

As the Market Development Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting, coaching and developing a network of independent distributors, helping them build their businesses, strengthen their sales capabilities and achieve their goals.

Working closely with the Sales Manager and senior leadership team, you will drive distributor engagement, deliver business education and implement initiatives that support market growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Distributor Coaching & Development: Coach, mentor and educate independent distributors to strengthen their business skills and sales performance.

- Relationship Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with distributors, providing ongoing guidance, motivation and support.

- Sales Growth & Market Development: Identify opportunities to increase distributor engagement, expand market reach and drive sales growth.

- Training & Education: Deliver engaging presentations, workshops and business development sessions.





- Events & Engagement: Participate in distributor meetings, roadshows, conventions, promotional events and community initiatives.

- Business Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns and growth initiatives.

- Digital Engagement: Utilise social media and digital communication channels to strengthen distributor relationships.

- Reporting & Insights: Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends and provide insights to support business decisions.

- Partnerships: Support sporting partnerships, brand activations and strategic initiatives.

About You

- Fluency in both Mandarin and English is essential.

- Minimum 3 years' experience in sales, business development, market development or a related role.

- Strong coaching, mentoring, training or distributor development experience.

- Experience supporting independent distributors, sales associates or business partners is highly desirable.

- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

- Ability to motivate, influence and engage stakeholders at different levels.

- Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven approach.

- Confidence in delivering presentations and facilitating training sessions.

- Positive analytical, reporting and organisational skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an understanding of digital marketing.

- A degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.

- Flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events and travel when required.

Experience in direct selling, network marketing, health and wellness, nutrition or distributor-based business models will be highly regarded.
