Service Technician – Caravans & RVs (12V / Auto Electrical Preferred)
Perth North Caravan Repairs | Landsdale WA | Full-time | $40–$45 per hour + super

Help us get Perth’s caravans back on the road

Perth North Caravan Repairs is an independent workshop in Landsdale. We do servicing, repairs, insurance work and authorised manufacturer warranty work on caravans and campers. There’s plenty of work and the business is under new ownership, so we’re investing in better systems, better processes and our team. We need another qualified technician who likes solving problems as much as using the tools.

What you’ll do

- Diagnose and repair 12V systems: batteries, DC-DC chargers, solar and regulators, lighting, water pumps, wiring faults and breakaway systems

- Do insurance repairs and warranty work to manufacturer standards, with explicit job notes and photos

- Fit accessories and complete pre-delivery checks

- Talk clearly with the service team so customers know what was found and what was fixed

What you’ll need

- A trade certificate in an automotive discipline.

Our preference is the Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (auto electrician). We’ll also seriously consider a Cert III in Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle or Outdoor Power Equipment, or a related trade

- Caravan or RV industry experience

- Confidence fault-finding 12V/DC circuits

- Your own hand tools

Bonus points

- A restricted or full electrical licence for 240V, or a gas fitting licence

- Experience with Jayco, Thetford or other major RV brands

What you get

- Monday to Friday hours in our Landsdale workshop: no weekends and no mobile call-outs

- A wide variety of jobs. No two vans are the same

- A small, capable team where your work actually gets noticed

- An owner who’s building the business for the long term and backs training and development

To apply: Send your resume and a short note covering your trade qualification and the 12V work you’ve done. Applications are reviewed as they come in.
